Pups were a week old - last night and this morning. This is my first litter born overnight and on two different days and I can't believe how confused I am as to which day of their life it is sometimes!

Jade and her girls are doing awesome. All of the pups have now exceeded their birth weights and nobody has had any supplemental feedings for a few days. It doesn't look like they have gained much, but in their first few days all of them lost several ounces so they have in fact made a good comeback over the last few days. The pups are getting softer fur and when they nurse their heads are soaked with milk. They are so adorable!

I'm still in the process of making final puppy placement decisions.

I need some help with holding pups so that I can take some pictures today, but my son is being volunteered for the job as soon as he gets home from school. Pictures will be posted on our Printroom page this evening. Jade X Kodiak Feb 2006 Litter
